I'm Kelly, born and raised in California with an itch to always be in the kitch. Along with cooking, traveling has always been a priority. Currently I'm living in the concrete jungle of Bangkok, Thailand as a full time English teacher. Within the next couple of years, the plan is to see as many countries as possible as a high-carb fruit loving vegan.

Why am I vegan? I believe animals exist for their own reasons, not for humans to consume, wear or test. Just because animals are intellectually weaker, does not give us the right to mistreat them. I want to open the eyes of the public and make it easier for people to indulge in cruelty-free food, sharing my yummy vegan recipes should help!

My recipes will never be anything too extravagant or difficult. I strive to make simple, high-carb, low-fat, salt-free and most importantly, vegan dishes. My food is inspired by my surroundings, from California cuisine to spicy Thai street food, in my book there are no boundaries.

I also want to share travel and life tips; how to be vegan on the road, in different environments where you might have to search a little harder to get your nutrient dense foods!
